Some actors have a natural, spontaneous onscreen connection that’s reflected in their performances each time they are cast together. We are not surprised that certain onscreen pairings are so popular that they guarantee resounding success at the box office.

Goldie and Kurt played an on-screen couple for the first time in the 1984 film ‘Swing Shift.’ They then appeared in ‘Overboard’ (1987) and ‘The Christmas Chronicles’ (2018). They will be reprising their respective roles in ‘The Christmas Chronicles 2,’ which is slated to release in 2020.

2. Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio

Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio played iconic lovers in the epic romance film ‘Titanic’ (1997). They then rekindled their on-screen romance in the 2008 romantic-drama film ‘Revolutionary Road'.

3. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence

Though Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence have appeared together in four films to date, they played couple in only two films; ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ (2012) and ‘Serena’ (2014).

4. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore

After starring together for the first time in the 1998 romantic comedy film ‘The Wedding Singer,’ they went on to act in the 2004 film ‘50 First Dates.’ In 2014, they were seen in yet another romantic comedy film ‘Blended'.

5. Julia Roberts and Richard Gere

Julia Roberts and Richard Gere appeared as a couple in the 1990 romantic-comedy film ‘Pretty Woman’ before appearing together in the 1999 film ‘Runaway Bride'.
